More Than Just Adult Toys! - The Story.

It all began in September 1999, operating from a spare bedroom in a small 1910 cottage in Melbourne customer orders were processed picked, packed and shipped daily across Australia. It was all online and it was the time when everyone thought they were going to make a quick and easy million dollars online.

The store was then known as SexToyZaustralia.com and targeted a mainly a gay male audience. That didn't last long as Australia loved our unique style and the way we could take the sleeeeze out of selling sex toys. SassyRoad.com was then born in January 2001.

Our mission then was to provide our customers with a clean fresh place to shop for personal items. From strength to strength SassyRoad.com grew and with so many requests for a mail order catalogue our first full colour, 24 page adult toy catalogue was released. With a mailing list of around only 800, we folded and posted the entire list ouselves.

Today we continue to provide that same personal service as we did when we were small and now provide our fantastic selection of sex toys, dvds and safe sex products to over 300,000 customers accross Australia and Overseas, both online and through our Mail Order Catalogues.
